And there were so many variety of technique and style we had this year which I am going to explain here. Again, please click to see larger image.

There were traditional quilts and modern quilts.

Big colourful ones and very subtle ones.

Realistic and imaginative ones.

Beautiful hand quilting and machine quilting.

Simple quilting can be effective as much as decorative one.

Quilting makes a big difference.

Tiny hand piecing and intricate foundation piecing.

Beautiful needle turn applique and delicate fused applique.

Traditional work with some twist.

Beautiful embellishment to add extra dimension to quilts.

New technique we learnt, quilt as you go applique and free style curved piecing.

There were a good few Kaffe Fassett this year!

We can’t have a quilt show without Christmas quilts!

Also we can’t have a show without lone star and bargello quilts!

We had two community fund raising quilts made by a lot of people. One on the left is for ADAPT house in Limerick and one on the right is for Wicklow area.

We had very ambitions beginners. One with original design and ones with king size!

Clever use of colour and shape are what attract us to make quilts.
